Spring/Summer 2013

In what I hope will be my full debut fashion collection, I am working on creating a series of garments for Spring/Summer 2013. The inspirations for this collection include a global influence, vintage-y styles, bohemian embroidery and a punk edge. The collection will include several pieces, including tops, bottoms, dresses, and what I am calling a “couture embroidered coat”, a pseudo pièce de résistance of softness with embroidery details. In addition, I will be designing my own fabrics using original paintings for use in the collection. I also hope to be able to incorporate these designs into a launching of “garb” that I can sell at renaissance fairs, and my ideas are ideally directionally suitable for renaissance clothing. Sketches to follow shortly!

Here are a few of my sketches for what I’m thinking about putting into this collection. There is more!
